Tax

Tax and VAT regulations are subject to constant changes. Our aim is to keep our clients updated on proposed and adopted changes, as well as their consequences, general direction, and the direction they are expected to take in the short and long term.

A thorough understanding of the legal framework for the organisation of business activities is required to find good solutions to tax and VAT challenges for our clients, and for this reason we work very closely with the Company Law area of expertise.

The Tax area of expertise consists of 11 lawyers and associates, five of whom are partners. We advise on tax issues related to:

  • Choice of organisational structure, including the taxation of all types of companies, which include limited liability companies, joint ventures, limited and unlimited partnerships, co-operatives, municipal undertakings, intermunicipal companies and collaborations, foundations, trusts and tax-free institutions, as well as the consequences of structural changes.
  • Acquisition and sale of businesses and companies, as well as mergers, demergers and other reorganisation of business activities
