Haavind has substantial experience and a separate team for environmental law. The Head of Practice Group has experience from the Ministry of Environment and has been a member/chairman of the Norwegian Bar Association’s law committee for environmental law for many years.

Haavind is the secretariat for the publicly appointed Environmental Information Board. The board handles complaints pursuant to the rules in the Environmental Information Act. The Board can issue binding regulatory orders for the disclosure of environmental information to private enterprises and individuals.
Haavind also works with environmental issues in relation to public and private clients in connection with the company’s extensive real estate practice.
